Day 1 — Pinnawala & Kandy — Elephants and Sacred Hills

Pinnawala: Begin your journey with a close look at Sri Lanka’s Asian elephants before travelling into the cool green hills of Kandy.

Kandy: Explore the island’s cultural capital, walk beside the peaceful Kandy Lake and visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth, one of Sri Lanka’s most important cultural landmarks.

Day 2 — Nuwara Eliya — Tea Country & Colonial Charm

Travel deeper into Sri Lanka’s central highlands, where rolling tea estates, waterfalls and cool mountain air create a completely different side of the island.
Visit a working tea estate, discover how world-famous Ceylon tea is produced and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere around Gregory Lake and Nuwara Eliya’s colonial-era town centre.

Day 3 — Horton Plains — Misty Trails & World’s End

Start early for one of Sri Lanka’s most rewarding highland walks through the unique landscapes of Horton Plains National Park.
Follow the scenic trail through cloud forest and open grasslands to World’s End, visit beautiful Baker’s Falls and look out for sambar deer along the misty trails.

Day 4 — Ella — Scenic Railways & Mountain Valleys

Experience one of Sri Lanka’s most memorable train journeys as you travel through tea-covered mountains toward the lively hill town of Ella.
Hike Little Adam’s Peak for panoramic valley views, visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge and spend the evening enjoying Ella’s relaxed mountain atmosphere.

Day 5 — Udawalawe National Park — Elephants in the Wild

Leave the cool mountains behind and travel toward the open landscapes of Udawalawe National Park.
Set out on a 4×4 safari through grasslands and reservoir country, where wild elephants are often seen roaming freely alongside buffalo, reptiles and an impressive variety of birdlife.

Day 6 — Yala National Park — Leopards & Wild Landscapes

Continue toward Sri Lanka’s southeastern wilderness for an exciting safari through Yala National Park.
Explore dry forests, rocky landscapes and coastal lagoons while searching for Sri Lankan leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, elephants and spotted deer.

Day 7 — Sinharaja Rainforest — Into the Wild

Conclude your journey in the peaceful surroundings of Sinharaja Forest Reserve, one of Sri Lanka’s most important tropical rainforests and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Walk beneath the dense rainforest canopy with a local guide, listen for endemic birds and discover colourful frogs, monkeys, streams and waterfalls hidden within the forest.
